Our adult workshops for November and December are now LIVE! ✨

We are thrilled to announce that the remaining of our fall workshop programming is now open for registration on our site! This upcoming season, we’ll be offering a wide variety of mediums in a large selection of topics, from arabic calligraphy to paper quilled poinsettias 🖋️🌺

Join us today and discover a new skill in time for the holidays!

Create and finish your own small tapestry in this 2 day introductory course. You will learn basic tapestry techniques and exercise your sense of colour and design using a frame loom. Patterns (optional) and a variety of yarn will be provided.

Button Factory Arts Centre is excited to announce the return of the Juried Show 2026!

This show will be juried by Sarah Stanners, the Executive Director and Chief Curator of the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery. Our opening reception will be held on Friday, October 16th from 5 - 6:30 pm. We are thrilled with the number of submissions and cannot wait to display this new collection of works.

Come celebrate with us this Friday with awards and refreshments. Hope to see you there!✨

Button Drop-Ins are here!✨

We are happy to offer a variety of collaborative spaces for the community as of this month, from Button members to the general public🙌

Open Studio for Members - Mondays, 10:30-4pm | $10
Bring your own materials and come make art in our studio space! Free access to use non-consumable materials (eg., easels, print-press, sewing machines, ceramic materials, etc)

Open Print for Members - Biweekly on Fridays, 10:30-4pm | $15
If your an experienced printmaker need a space to work then were just the place for you! You can use our non-consumable materials (print-press, brayers, etc) but don’t forget to bring your own inks and paper.

Adult Public Drop-Ins - Thursdays, 7-9pm | PWYC ($5 donation suggested)
Free sessions to make art and meet other artists! Starting in October, we will be hosting drop-ins on the first 4 Thursdays of
the month:

1st Thursday from 7-9pm:

It’s been a little but it’s time for another… !✨

Thinking for our 2026 Juried Show got us looking at some images of the past! Here are some archival images we found of an undated Juried Exhibition right here at the Button. We welcomed many visitors into our space and enjoy the creative environment of the evening. We hope to see many faces at the opening of our upcoming Juried Show on October 16th!

The Button Factory Arts Centre will be closed this Saturday, October 10th to Monday, October 12th for the Thanksgiving long weekend!🙌

We will have regularly scheduled programming resuming back on Tuesday, October 13th with regular hours opening at 10am.
