NEW: Chikanishing Sunset Pines Impression

Jonathan’s newest rough-style original oil painting was inspired by an October hike along the Chikanishing Trail on Georgian Bay.

Pink-hued, moss-covered rocks, rugged pines and the beautiful colours of sunset come together in this vibrant celebration of a place we love.

The inspiration behind Munzy's new Killarney-inspired original. ❤️

A moment of contemplation after an autumn hike to the top of The Crack with a dear friend and fellow nature enthusiast.

I shared this reference photo with Jonathan a few years ago, hoping it might inspire him, and I love how he captured the elegance of this mighty pine and the stunning rock face below.

Jonathan often works from his own photography, so it’s extra fun for me when one of my memories is captured in a painting, and such a stunning painting at that.

So, would I like to keep this original for myself? Why yes, like so many others before it, yes I would. 😂 But that wouldn’t make me a very good gallery sister now, would it? ;)

“The Crack View” is now available, and definitely worth a trip to our gallery to see in person. A computer screen unfortunately just won’t do this beauty justice.
