City of Waterloo Museum We are a vibrant community museum with ever-changing exhibits and engaging programs. Exhibition hours are Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

e traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and Chonnonton Peoples. Our museum recognizes that the history of this land did not begin with European settlement, and we are committed to sharing stories that honour Indigenous presence, knowledge, and contributions—past and ongoing. Located at Conestoga Mall—the museum offers free admission and ever-changing exhibitions that explore the city’s unique heritage. Our new display is packed with pure nostalgia that will transport you right back to the pre-digital days. Come get a close-up look at:

🗂️ Classic Index Cards straight out of the old card catalog cabinets.
📜 Original Blueprints of the very first dedicated Carnegie library building from 1905!

This program helps people with non-visible disabilities discreetly signal that they may need additional support, patience or assistance when accessing city services by wearing a sunflower lanyard or bracelet.

Sunflower lanyards and bracelets are available at all City of Waterloo facilities and Waterloo Public Library locations.
