Here’s what you should know about this year’s Richmond Maritime Festival:

🛑 A few areas in and around the event venue, including the Seine Net Loft, will be closed to the public this year due to ongoing construction

⚓ Dock access this year will be available from the Shipyard building, while visitors with mobility issues may view the boats from an accessible viewing area on the Britannia Shipyard deck.

🌿 Feeling overwhelmed during the festival? There will be a designated Sensory Free Space in the Visitor Centre, and sensory kits can be signed out for use at the information booth located at the Port of Call zone.

♿ All heritage buildings open during the festival are accessible, however do note that the wooden boardwalk and wooden flooring inside the Richmond Boat Builders and Britannia Shipyard may be uneven.

💧Don’t forget to bring a water bottle! Water stations will be available across the site for you to fill up and stay hydrated.
