Thank you to everyone who attended the Quilt Bingo we held as a fundraiser during Tabusintac Old Home Week 2025.
We raised over $6000! To say we were pleased with the result would be a huge understatement.
These funds will go a long way to help us maintain the building for years to come.
Congratulations to all the winners of the beautiful quilts. We hope you cherish them.
And last but not least, a special Thank You to the Common Thread Quilters who made and donated all 10 quilts. Without their generosity, this would not have happened. This amazing group does a lot of good work in our community. Bravo ladies!

Bertha Breau was an amazing artist and she was a woman of many talents who wasted nothing.
Her fibre art murals are a must see!

We have 2 amazing displays of unique art work by two special women from Tabusintac & Covedell.
Dorothy Russell-Beattie was an amazing photographer who painted her photos with a special treatment.
Bertha Breau was a beautiful artist who created fibre art of scenes & stories from her life.
Please stop by our little white building on the corner of the Old Manse Road & Route 11 for a visit.

Today’s winner from Joan Rand, who took the benefit of having everyone home to recreate an old family classic with Joan, Lynn, Ann and Earl Russell while at the museum.

We will be at the library & museum today at 1 p.m. if you want to drop your Dorothy Beattie pictures off.

Many remember Dorothy Russell Beattie (Dodie) and the beautiful photos she took of Tabusintac and many of its residents.
During Tabusintac Old Home Week 2025, we would like to display as many of her photos as we can. They are special, unique and we want to honour her work. While we have a few at the museum, we are hoping many will lend us their DRB photos for the display.

Thank you once again for your wonderful support of the Strawberry Tea! I’m not sure how many years we’ve been having this but it’s still a success!
Thank you to Angele Palmer of Stanley Mutual Insurance for your sponsorship. This aid really boosts the fundraising efforts.
We love ❤️ having the residents, families, & staff from the Tabusintac Nursing Home join us each year. We’re happy the weather cooperated!
We love hearing the compliments about the delicious strawberry shortcakes made with the best strawberries 🍓 around!
And we ❤️ hearing how much you love our upgrades to the building.
And last but not least, thank you to the committee for all you do! And the volunteers who help us out each year.
We will see you in 2026!
