Kevin Lyons — P***y and Papers, Poetry, Power and Pistols is a retrospective of the New York graphic designer and illustrator’s T-shirt work, covering more than 500 designs produced between 1989 and 2006.
His work brings together references from hip-hop, music, sport, politics and popular culture, with projects connected to figures and brands such as Tokion, Stones Throw, Nike, Stüssy and 555 Soul. The book captures the crossover between underground graphics, streetwear and contemporary art that defined much of the visual culture of the period.

The spirit of Martin

For more than 20 years the Maison Martin Margiela has been a hot spot to all fashion lovers visiting Brussels and the Downtown Dansaert area. This well known white house is now a unique Bookshop for collectors, curators, artists and friends, keeping the spirit and original punk mood of Margiela.

Saint-Martin Bookshop occupies the whole house. On the ground floor, we offer the latest releases selected from the publishers we work with, as well as a wide selection of monographs and exhibition catalogues, books on design, architecture and fashion. The first floor is devoted to rarer and more fragile books. This is where our treasures are hidden.

These two volumes are by far the best reference work on Sigurd Lewerentz to date. The photographs and essays offer exceptional documentation, including much previously unpublished material and fresh perspectives on lesser-known works.
The second volume, devoted to drawings, is particularly outstanding. Beautifully reproduced from the original drawings, many published here for the first time, they are a masterclass in graphic and architectural communication.
Taken together, this superb two-volume set is essential for anyone interested in Lewerentz, one of the great unsung architects of the 20th century.
