As the first comprehensive monograph on the Mark Leckey's work, edited by Patrizia Dander and Elena Filipovic, this book traces in reverse chronology the connections between his production - including videos, sculptures, installations, and lecture performances - and his earliest works from the mid and the late 1990s, this publication reveals the persistent centrality of popular culture, music and technology to Leckey's influential oeuvre. All the artist's scripts to date appear together for the first time in this lavishly illustrated volume, which features newly commissioned essays by John Cussans, Patrizia Dander, Elena Filipovic, and Alex Kitnick, as well as an interview between the artist and Dan Fox.

Richard Tuttle / Charles Bernstein - Reading Red - Walther König 1998

Artist’s book and poetry collaboration between Richard Tuttle and Charles Bernstein, produced in response to Tuttle’s New Mexico–New York works first exhibited at Sperone Westwater in New York in 1998. The book brings together 25 reproductions of Tuttle’s paintings with 25 short poems by Bernstein, conceived as a dialogue between image and text. Tuttle designed the publication as a physical sequence: three large circular sheets are folded into the binding and unfold as the book is opened, requiring the reader to move around the object in order to follow the work. The unusual format makes the book itself an integral part of the collaboration, extending Tuttle’s interest in colour, sequence and spatial perception into the act of reading.

Hans Namuth - L'Atelier de Jackson Po***ck - Macula 1994

A landmark photographic document of Jackson Po***ck at work in his Long Island studio, photographed by Hans Namuth in 1950. The sequence captures Po***ck’s radical working process at close range, including his drip paintings made with the canvas laid directly on the floor, while the accompanying texts examine the relationship between the photographic image, Po***ck’s technique and the subsequent construction of his artistic mythology. The volume includes essays by E.A. Carmean Jr., Jean Clay, Rosalind Krauss, Francis V. O’Connor and Barbara Rose, excerpts from Po***ck’s own statements, and two interviews with Lee Krasner. Namuth’s photographs became fundamental to the reception of Po***ck’s work and to the understanding of Action Painting and the “all-over” technique.

Portrait of the Absent – 365 presents the complete series of 365 self-portraits developed over the course of one year. Each day, Jildevik composed an outfit from his personal archive of fashion pieces and found objects, photographing it as a portrait without the body. The archive brings together early Maison Martin Margiela, Helmut Lang, Gucci, Ann Demeulemeester and Raf Simons alongside flea-market finds and anonymous garments collected over many years. The publication brings together the entire body of work in a single volume, documenting an ongoing exploration of memory, attachment and absence.
First edition, limited to 500 copies. Designed by Elsa Mueller.
