The Museum has two piano’s which are in desperate need of tuning. We are wondering if there is a tuner on the Fleurieu who could volunteer their expertise?

We are on the move ! (sort of). New displays are coming and existing exhibitions moved around to create more interest and space to expand our offerings. Check out the Port Elliot Museum this Sunday.

Watch out for the Port Elliot Museum's sale of unrestored stationary engines, farm equipment and rusty relics for garden ornaments. Also we are having a garage sale of hand tools, furniture, etc. Watch out for further details of dates and times.

The weather is turning with the sun out and wind abating.
Still looking for things to do this weekend ?
The Rotary Markets at Lakala Reserve are open 9am to 2pm Saturday.
It’s not too late to grab tickets to Saturday nights Riding out the Bloom with Daryl Braithwaite event.
Sunday the Port Elliot Museum is open 10am to 3pm.
Then the licensed Lions Family BBQ at Horseshoe Bay kicks off 4:00 to 7:30.

The Museum welcomes all visitors to the Fleurieu for summer. Take some time out to experience some local and agricultural history.
We are open 10-3 Thursday and Sundays.

The 145th Port Elliot Show is this weekend Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th October.
As you take in all the fun of the show add on a visit to the Museum. There are so many items of interest for all ages. Beautiful restored buggies and farming equipment, a display of mannequins in period dress, household wares. All the restorations have been done by members of the museum.
Just a gold coin donation whilst the Show is on.
