New Year's celebrations back in the early 1900s were something grand in Victor Harbor. Holiday makers staying in the many popular guest homes and hotels would look forward to the annual activities, regattas and entertainment that were organised by the local Amusement Committee. A visit to the Victor Harbor National Trust Museum will show you how it was back then and why it's still a great holiday destination.
Open 11am to 3pm everyday during the holidays. Children under 12 are free AND Open 7pm to 9pm $2pp just on NEW YEAR'S Eve!!

Look what's happening at the Victor Harbor National Trust Museum.
From 26th December a Quest begins to locate the 12 items from the song The 12 days of Christmas hidden throughout the Museum. If you succeed you will get a prize.
On New Year's Eve the Museum will be open from 8pm to 9pm. So while you wait for the fireworks come on in and see our decorations, lights, activities and gift shop. $2pp and children under 12 are Free.

The naughty elf on the shelf is more than likely a descendant of the piskeys of early folklore. The elf is supposedly going back to Santa's workshop tonight, but our piskey is waiting to meet you in the Victor Harbor National Trust Museum. Open everyday during the holidays 11am to 3pm. What a great night was had by all when the Steamranger's Train came to town.
The weather was a bit cool, but the Museum turned up the warmth with their decorations, lights and activities.
