We aim to showcase and support the best of local (Fleurieu and South Australia) produce and art/craft wherever possible. Unique to Pruners Hut will be our program of cooking classes aimed at providing exceptional food experiences and education, combined with wine matching from the McLaren Vale wine region.

Look what we have in stock for the football season - two larger pots from our lovely friend at Val's Pots - Crows or Port Power colours. Last week to see the paintings by Adrian. Last week of autumn!! Advance notice that we will be open on the Monday of the June long weekend. Have a fantastic week.

Some much-welcomed rain on the way this weekend, however we still get to enjoy a small amount of warmth with it. I did notice this week that a jacaranda had flowers on it - it usually flowers in December. And yesterday I saw an agapanthus with a flower which is usually in flower in December too. Strange times! We have paintings by Adrian in the gallery. Beautiful pizzas and delicious wine on offer as always. Have a wonderful week.

It's nice to have some rain, now reaching 100mm this year to date. The beautiful coloured leaves have almost gone so we know what's coming. We have paintings in the gallery by Adrian. The pizzas are hot and the wine delicious. Have a wonderful week.

A warm start to the weekend and then some welcome rain. We are into the last month of autumn so make the most of the lovely weather when we can. We have paintings by Adrian in the gallery. The new pizza flour is working a treat if you haven't tried it yet. Delicious wine as well as coffee and cake as always. Have a great week.

What fabulous weather! Time to enjoy this beautiful time of year while it lasts. We will be open on Friday and Sunday but closed on Saturday for Anzac Day. Fantastic time to be on the deck with a glass of wine and a delicious pizza. We have paintings in the gallery by Adrian, apologies for the glare. Have a great week.

If you are not going to the football on Sunday, there's the Vintage and Classic in McLaren Vale. The main street in McLaren Vale will be closed 11am to 12.30pm so may need to use Chalk Hill Road if you are coming through. We have paintings in the gallery by Adrian, hot pizza and coffee, delicious wine. Enjoy your week.

Our middle month of autumn is upon us already. We have paintings by Adrian in the gallery. We are closed today but open on Saturday and Sunday as usual. Closed on Monday. Warmer weather coming this week, so don't put the shorts away yet. Have a great week.

Well that's the last of the grapes picked for this year. Always lovely to get that finished. Last week to see the photos by Paul. Early diary note for the returning Vintage and Classic car parade. Vintage 2026 shiraz on its way to the winemaker. Fingers crossed for another beautiful drop. Grenache still a way off yet. Delicious pizza, coffee, cake and wine available this weekend as usual.
