Congrats to our friend Simon Toohey from Geelong City Market and to City of Greater Geelong & Stretch Kontelj for the City of Greater Geelong Council on the huge success of the Friday night food market last week. It was one of the busiest days at Creative Geelong in Centrepoint Arcade with many artists & traders overwhelmed with customers and buyers.

The positive economic impact and boost to confidence for our crairce community in the area cannot be understated.

This is a great example of how government can support existing businesses rather than trying to create something new.

This Friday night 19 June, Creative Geelong is hosting an art market from 5pm to 9pm in Centrepoint Arcade with stalls throughout the arcade and open studios along with tenants Untether Gallery + Studios Andrew Delaney and Mark Lazaroo and Yesterday Vintage

This market is to help celebrate the Tastes of Geelong program launch happening in the Little Malop St Mall as part of the Geelong City Night Market. Geelong City Market

Within the arcade’s internal atrium we will leave some cafe tables out for people to sit and enjoy the live music from heidi 🌟 performing/busking during the night and our new member Greg from Greg McKinnon Brookwood Cigar Box Guitars will have a stall and also entertain us during the night - collectively creating a cosy friendly atmosphere.
