An early scene of a trains at Cressy, C.1915. Come along this Sunday 27 April, 1.30pm until 3pm, for a history talk at the National Wool Museum, Geelong. Norman Houghton OAM will talk about construction and operation of the railway across the western plains from Geelong to the Grampians. At 160km, the railway was the longest line built and opened at one time in Victoria. Copies of Norman's book outlining the history of the line will be for sale after the talk. Gold Coin Donation.
