Our partners at McHarry’s Buslines have made it possible for more than 400 local students to visit Discovering the Impressionists.

Students have had the chance to experience paintings by some of the world’s most famous artists, including paintings from private collections they may never have the opportunity to see again.

We’re incredibly grateful to McHarry’s for making this possible through fully subsidised exhibition bus travel for schools.

Since arriving at Geelong Gallery last November, more than 110,000 visitors have enjoyed this iconic painting, currently on display as part of Claude Monet and Australian Impressionism.⁠

See ‘Haystacks, midday’ at Geelong Gallery until Sunday 25 October. Entry is free for everyone.⁠

‘Haystacks, midday’ is on long term loan from the National Gallery of Australia with support from the Australian Government as part of Sharing the National Collection Program.⁠
