Join us for the opening of 'THE WEIGHT OF THINGS'
A solo exhibition by Delhi-based artist Ruchika Wason Singh

Through layered paintings built from repeated marks, overlapping forms and intuitive acts of accumulation, Singh examines the emotional and psychological structures that gather around the objects of everyday life.

We look forward to welcoming you.

A WORLD WITHIN WORLDS
A solo exhibition by Delhi-based artist Ravi Kumar Chaurasiya

Through surreal paintings, Chaurasiya considers human existence through the environments we construct and inhabit, and through the many forms of life with which we share them. Drawing from lived experience, memory, observation and imagination, he approaches living space as both physical terrain and psychological condition.

LINE AS WITNESS
A solo exhibition by Yusuf

For more than four decades, Yusuf has returned to one of the most elemental gestures in art: the line. Across painting, drawing, paper, thread and sculpture, the line becomes a way of thinking, a measure of time and a record of attention. Through repetition, accumulation and restraint, his works explore rhythm, structure and the space between presence and absence.

Opening today, 23 September | 6–9 PM
1X1 Art Gallery, Alserkal Avenue, Dubai

We look forward to welcoming you.

Paper Skin, Stone Soul

An exhibition bringing together works by Bikash Bhattacharjee, Jogen Chowdhury, Kishen Khanna, Ram Kumar, Badri Narayan, Ganesh Pyne, K.G. Subramanyan, Suhas Roy and Thota Vaikuntam.

Exploring the human body as a site of memory, myth, and psychological depth, the exhibition unfolds through layered, expressive, and deeply introspective works. Navigating the space between fragility and permanence, these practices reveal a quiet tension between vulnerability and inner resilience—offering a contemplative meditation on the human condition.

1X1 Art Gallery is pleased to present our participation in Déjà Vu, a multi-gallery exhibition at Concrete, conceptualised by Alserkal.

Bringing together 50+ artists from 20 of the UAE’s leading contemporary galleries, the exhibition explores repetition, memory glitches, historical misalignment, and the slippages of language- drawing inspiration from Raed Yassin’s Déjà Vu (2016).

On view from 25 April- 8 May 2026, at Concrete, Alserkal Avenue.
