For this year’s presentation, Soft Lines, Strong Currents, Aisha Alabbar Gallery brings together works by Najat Makki, Layla Juma, Alia Hussain Lootah, Sara Al Haddad, and Armin Najib.

Working across painting, sculpture, textile, and mixed media practices, the presentation explores themes of memory, materiality, movement, and emotional resonance through gestures that shift between delicacy and strength. Each artist engages with form and process in ways that reflect the quiet tensions and undercurrents shaping contemporary experience.
