✨Dedicated to sharing the history of Dr Pepper and the soft drink industry In March of 2020 we opened our newly expanded Gift Shop in the historic AMBC Building. You can access the Gift Shop from the courtyard without paying admission to

the Museum. We now offer a free Dr Pepper with paid admission to the Museum! We also ask for donations at the Admissions Desk. Your donations go to the upkeep and preservation of our two historic buildings and are matched dollar-for-dollar up to $100,000 per year by Keurig Dr Pepper.

Did you know our biggest artifact is actually the main museum building? 👀

The Artesian Manufacturing and Bottling Company (AMBC) building first opened as a bottling plant in 1906. The facility housed bottling production, offices, and laboratories for the production of Dr Pepper and several other soft drinks including. You can still spot some of its original featured throughout the Museum today!

🚨Heads up, Peppers! 🚨

Please be aware that the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) plans to close the I-35 south bound and north bound mainlanes for about 24 hours starting Saturday, August 8. Traffic will be very congested and we expect delays in getting to us.

We recommend that all Peppers with Make-A-Soda reservations allow ample time for arrival to avoid the risk of missing their scheduled session. If you are unable to attend your reservation, please reach out and we will assist you further.

TxDOT is encouraging drivers to take alternate routes like Loop 340, Hwy 6 and US-77 BUS. Safe travels, and we hope to see you soon!✨

During World War II, sugar rationing challenged soft drink companies, but Dr Pepper maintained access to the sugar it needed. Promoting its slogan, “Drink a bite to eat at 10, 2, and 4 o’clock,” the company encouraged Americans to enjoy a Dr Pepper during those times to help sustain energy throughout the workday. The company argued the importance of drinking the beverage at the allotted times to keep energy up on the home front, especially in factories. ✨
