🌞✨ What a fun and creative day at the BAA Art Center! ✨🌞

Yesterday, we welcomed members, non-members, families, friends and kids, for a wonderful creative afternoon with Sheryll Dille-Kidder, making beautiful ocean-and-sun suncatchers from beads and resin. 🌊☀️

There was lots of creativity, laughter, and fun—and everyone went home with their very own delightful suncatcher to brighten a window and bring a little sunshine home. 💙

A BIG thank-you to everyone who came out and joined us, and especially to Sheryll for her wonderful instruction and creativity!

And the good news is… Sheryll will be back in September! 🍂✨

Join us on September 5th from 11 AM–2 PM for her Crushed Glass Workshop: Fall Festival Suncatchers. It’s going to be another fun, hands-on creative experience, so grab your spot!

BAA's Art INSIDEout invites you to join us for Sunset Reset, tonight, Sunday, Aug. 23rd at our new, downstairs, Buenaventura Art Center/Gallery location!

Different location, same vibe!

Sunset Reset is a free, weekly open studio — drop in to create, work on your own project, or just hang out. Some supplies on hand, but feel free to bring your own. Questions welcome! Now happening at 1559 Spinnaker Dr., , 6 - 8pm. That's on the first floor, below Brophy Bros. and caddy corner across the patio from Harbor Village Gallery & Gifts. Use parking lot entrance #1 or park in the Dolphin Lot for free parking and a 5-min. mind-clearing stroll down the promenade.

🎨 What a fun night of creativity! 🎨

We had a wonderful turnout for last night’s Art for Fun: Paint & Collage with Michelle Nosco at the Buenaventura Art Association! There was lots of painting, experimenting, laughter, and creative energy!

And the fun doesn’t stop here! This is an ongoing series of 15 sessions, where we’ll explore acrylic and gouache, create colorful abstract backgrounds, and add collage elements when inspiration strikes.

Bring along snippets from magazines, favorite poems or sayings, and a cherished photo to work from—or choose from some of the interesting images we’ll have available.
