It’s always such a treat to wander around Rancho Santa Clara Del Norte and the Lloyd-Butler Botanical Gardens in Saticoy for the annual Land + Sky exhibition. It encompasses sculpture, video, science, painting, music, sound baths and other mediums by resident artists.

Bride-to-be Haylei Rebecca and her fabulous crew turned ArtWalk Ventura into one stop on their bachelorette adventure, complete with bridal sashes, art and sunshine.

We absolutely love that ArtWalk was part of the celebration. Congratulations, Haylei! Here’s to a lifetime filled with love, laughter and plenty of art.

Artist Karen Kitchel is an incredible talent and also has a superb sense of humor. She built Persephone’s throne in her studio for ArtWalk. Visitors and pets had fun with photo ops. (In Greek mythology, Persephone was married to Hades, the god of the Underworld).

Elisa Torres was the lead artist on the longest mural in California — the Moon Ditch mural. We were proud to feature her at ArtWalk. She was also featured in our poster campaign. Elisa is also a good sport, as she found her image everywhere from banners, to the front page of the Star to the side of buses.
