Currently, we are only open to the public on the weekends from 11am-4pm. $10. You can also book a private guided tour for $25 per person minimum of 4 people by contacting Donnie Rich at 918 949-1345 or through our website https://www.theoutsidershouse.com/private-tours/

If you are at the house on non-tour days or after hours, please feel free to take pictures of the exterior of the house, includ

ing the front porch. All we ask is that you DO NOT TRESPASS on the museum property beyond that, be respectful to our neighbors, and PLEASE CLOSE THE FRONT GATE as you leave. Thank you for your support, and as always, Stay Gold.

A new sidewalk is being built as we speak at The Outsiders House Museum.
Next step: redoing the lawn and adding a sprinkler system to keep the place photo-worthy at all times.

Going through the archives this week while working on a new Outsiders book, I came across a wonderful photo of one of our favorite volunteers, Joe Cervantez.
Joe was also an extra in The Outsiders movie and, as many of you know, a talented photographer himself. I thought he should see what I found, so I had a print made and delivered it to him this weekend.
It made me happy to see him light up while looking at a photo from the filming, one that he was actually in.

Then, after seeing James Clark’s post today, I realized I had another rare photo of Joe Cervantez that he hasn’t seen before.
Tell me if you can spot him.

To mark America’s 250th year, we invited notable Americans to select one transformative title from BPL's booklist and share why it still resonates today. chose The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton.

Regarding his selection Hawke adds:
