Eugene V. Debs Foundation The official page for the Eugene V. Debs Foundation located in Terre Haute, IN. The Foundation owns, maintains, and operates the Debs home and museum.

The Foundation promotes the work and legacy of Eugene V. Debs through education, research and community outreach. The Foundation keeps alive the spirit of progressivism, humanitarianism, and social criticism epitomized by Debs. The Foundation is responsible for the Debs house and museum, the annual Debs Award banquet, and outreach and membership support. We sincerely thank each and every member wh

o supports the Foundation through their generous contributions! Most of the funds help keeps the museum in order and supports basic services. Thank You Again! Almost all of the activities on behalf of the Foundation are performed by dedicated volunteers. We hope you will keep the Debs legacy alive and well for future generations!

MARCH WITH US: You're invited to join us in Terre Haute's Labor Day Parade THIS MONDAY, 9/1!

Parade down the same streets Gene did, and enjoy one of his favorite pastimes: sharing sweets with the kiddos!

Meet at the Debs House between 9:30-10:00am for coffee and donuts, then walk with us to line up at 11th and Wabash at ~10:30. The parade steps off at 11:00.

Wear RED and plan to walk about two miles total. Don't forget good marching shoes and get hydrated over the weekend to prepare.

Can't march with us but want to support? Please drop off a bag of union made candy at the Debs House any time this week. Thanks and see you soon!
