Art as history.

Visit Lady Washington’s Reception (After Daniel Huntington) in our Director’s Gallery. This print showcases the noble status of the Washingtons, and one of Martha Washington’s levees.

A diagram accompanies this print to note the guests of Martha Washington. Are there any you recognize?

Come get a history lesson through art!

“It’s keeping memories alive of people in your life“

From platters to cuff bracelets, or a fork handle to a necklace, Katie truly creates something special for families. She said she gets chills talking about her work and how important it is to her to give these items new lives.

Thank you Katie Wood for your presentation on your work!

Thank you to the Alliance of the Swope for sponsoring this artist talk! Come back next month to listen to Mike Lunsford speak.

Congratulations to all the artists that received awards for the 82nd Wabash Valley Exhibition on Friday!

We had a mix of awards selected by our juror, Mark Pascale, and purchase awards. These awards would not be possible without the sponsorship from First Financial Bank.

A big congratulations to Lucinda Berry, who won Best of Show for her piece, “Full Circle”.

All 80 pieces of the Wabash Valley Exhibition are on view until January 10, 2027!
