The first Skateboarding Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony was held in 2009 to honor the passion, dedication, contribution and accomplishments of Professional Skateboarders, Photographers, Musicians, Artists and others throughout the decades. IASC members, historians, pros, editors, and the industry vote and gather to recognize those who have made an indelible imprint on the history of skateboarding.

We encourage visitors and hours change occasionally so be sure to call ahead or check our website for current information.

The Thrashin 40 year extravaganza was truly insane. I think that there was about 400+ people that showed up. Thank you all. I’m not the best video editor but I tried to put what few video I captured into a 3 minute clip from my POV. Biggest thanks to 80s life and crew for everything they did to make this happen. Thanks to Madrid Skateboards and crew, Skate Influenced Burger Joint and crew and of course all of the Pro Legends as well as all of the cast from the movie and also the talented artists that made art show so special. So many rad visitors from all parts of the world have been checking out the Museum all in anticipation for the Thrashin event tomorrow. This dude from St Louis, Tyree showed me some of his collection he brought on the plane. I love them all especially the John Lucero the Richard Mulder Hosoi and the Williamseansheffey Life.
