My daughter who was also the creator and singer of the music attached here with her song "Sing for the Mothers" recently had a little baby girl. I wanted to do something special other than a regular portrait so did this one as a black and white. It really captures the absence of the love between them and the beauty of the mother-daughter bond.

I've been working on this one for a while. Painting people is hard and especially people with so much character and expression. It's finally done though.

This women in real life was delightful and smiled broadly when I asked if I could take her picture.

This one is called " A Shopkeeper in Ubud."
