rtists; important works by the Cowboy Artists of America; exceptional offerings by contemporary masters; and Native American antiques. The Santa Fe Art Auction has proudly established a number of auction records, and has achieved impressive results for paintings for Robert Henri, Ernest Blumenschein, Bert Geer Phillips, Winold Reiss, Carl Rungius and Howard Terpning. Day One of Art of the West will commence with a fine collection of contemporary and 20th Century Western paintings. The auction moves into historic and contemporary bronzes and other sculptural works, with many by members of the Cowboy Artists of America, as well as an excellent selection of folk-art wood carvings.

Day Two begins with works on paper, with offerings including a wonderful selection of Gene Kloss prints and a wide variety of both classic and contemporary original + editioned works. Native paintings will be next on the block, as well as important historic works by key New Mexico modernists. The sale will conclude with a collection of Edward Curtis prints and photogravures.
