We continue AAPI Heritage Month by celebrating the late Chinese-American painter, educator, and advocate, Hung Liu. As one of the most vital cultural voices of San Francisco, Hung Liu’s layered works gives our city a mirror to reflect on its history, its present, and where we are heading next. Head of Contemporary Art Abby Chen sits down to share her illuminating insights into Hung Liu’s impact and remarkable journey.
