This is where an image starts becoming a possibility.
Number 12 began as a photograph of a weathered blue door in Honfleur.
Then came the details.
The lock.
The threshold.
The worn paint.
The stone.
The life growing into the cracks.
Each smaller piece started carrying its own weight.
That’s when the image became more than a single photograph.
It became a study.
A doorway.
A witness.
A collection of smaller stories held inside one larger one.
This is part of what I love about developing artwork for a space.
Sometimes one image is enough.
Other times, the details ask to come along too.
If something like this connects with you, we can explore what it might become — a single piece, a grouping, a custom size, or something built specifically for your space.
That’s part of the conversation.
