Many of you know that Larry T. Baza and I showed Kim Reasor’s work at Noel-Baza Fine Art, I’m really pleased to share that Kim Reasor’s remarkable painting “Recycle Yard” is on view at the San Diego Museum of Art in the “Art of the Americas”exhibition. As Kim herself says “the tag contextualizes it well”…

“Beneath a blue sky, San Diego-based artist Kim Reasor renders this overlooked recycling yard through flattened abstract shapes and strong, contrasting light. Reasor currently collaborates with scientists on art-science projects, and the unexpected subject of this painting implicitly links appreciation of landscape painting with caring for the environment.”
