Ashley Petersen (Ash to her friends) has been a consultant for five years at our gallery. What is wonderful about her story is Ashley transplanted herself to San Diego specifically just to work for Exclusive Collections Gallery. She splits her time and lives in Long Beach just to be a part of our team.
No doubt you have met her in our gallery, but if you have not, Ashley’s knowledge of art is vast. She also has some fun hobbies. She is an astrologer, trained singer, professional massage therapist, competitive billiards player and she is an inspiring author too.
Ashley’s favorite artist is Dr. Seuss. Why? “He can draw and paint absolutely anything. He was friends with some of the great artists like Norman Rockwell, Dali, Chuck Jones and Stan Lee. Ted Geisel (Dr Seuss) was inspired by some of the greatest artists to ever lived and he turn he has inspired so many great artists after him,” she passionately shared.
Whether in Long Beach or in a downtown loft, Ashley has a zest for living and shared that, for her working in an art gallery means you are constantly learning new things every day. In her off time, she spends time with friends and of course her kitty, Jah. One of her favorite parts of San Diego is the beach town, Cardiff by the Sea. No doubt, a San Diego gem.
And like Cardiff, so is Ashley. Thank you, Ash, for being such a vibrant part of our gallery family!
