Good morning, Fulton Mansion! When the chandelier in the front hall is struck by the morning light, it throws rainbows all throughout the first floor. Once illuminated by gas lighting, this is one of two original light fixtures in the house. During the Fulton's time, the real crystals would've been lit by the gasolier inside, powered by a generator outside that pumped aerated gasoline into the lights of the house, which had to be lit by hand! Come visit us to learn more about cutting-edge 19th century technology.
