Mixed-media collage and found objects

Overspray features the work of longtime graffiti artists and collaborators Airen and Nova, exploring the intersection of graffiti, abstraction, and the transformation of existing artwork. The exhibition showcases individual pieces alongside a series of collaborative works created through an ongoing process of deconstruction and reconstruction. Nova creates the original painted panels, which both artists then cut apart. Airen then rearranges the fragments and repaints them into new geometric compositions. Blending both artists' practices, the exhibition treats each piece as something that can be continually altered, resulting in works that exist somewhere between graffiti, abstraction, collage, and sculpture.

Today is also the last day to see Objects of Devotion, The Final Frontier. Rochester Community Collage is the best, and so is their annual summer show.

There are only a few days left to see Objects of Devotion, The Final Frontier. Rochester Community Collage made a really great show together, and I am certain you will like it. Don't sleep, Objects of Devotion closes Saturday at 2pm!

Hello. Thank you for being understanding about yesterday. I found out via NPR while helping Louis with a wonderful photo project. I was able to stop crying until I wasn't, so I went home and watched Straight Talk with my dog🩷

Small Show alert! I am so pumped for this year's exhibition. What are you showing?

Small Show began in 2018 as an opportunity for folks to support artists and shop local by gifting art for the holiday season. And, we continue to do just that year after year! Small Show is an open call, all things go- kind of a show. All mediums are welcome! There is no theme, it is not juried, and people may purchase art right off the wall!
While the theme is loose, there are some rules. Here they are:

Each artist may exhibit up to four (4) works!

Works must be 16 x 20 and smaller (excluding the frame) and WIRED and ready to hang*

Ready to hang works may be dropped off at Lumiere between 10/10 and 10/17. Business hours are Tuesday- Friday 10-6, and Saturdays 10-2. The address is 100 College Ave, Rochester 14607, located in the back of the building, accessed through the parking lot

All ready to hang works submitted will be displayed! Please include your name, contact info, and title of each work on the back of each piece, in addition to filling out the form available at Lumiere photo dot com.
