🏡 A Reston tradition nearly as old as the town itself!

Did you know that the roots of the Reston Home Tour go all the way back to 1969? That spring, St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Herndon and RCA hosted early house tours, inviting curious neighbors to explore local architecture and discover the stories behind the homes in their community.

Today, we're carrying that tradition forward with the 24th Annual Reston Home Tour! 🎉

Join us this Saturday, October 17, from 10 AM - 4 PM to step inside some incredible homes, discover the architecture and stories that make Reston unique, and experience a little piece of our community’s history.

✨ Whether you're a longtime Restonian, an architecture enthusiast, or simply curious about the homes around you, this is a tour you won't want to miss!

🎟️ Get your tickets and explore this years stops at restonmuseum.org, in person at the Reston Museum, or at the W**e Cabinet in North Point Shopping Center.

Every ticket supports the Reston Museum and helps us preserve and share the stories that make our community special. ❤️

🎈 Talk about a bird’s-eye view! 🎈

Forty years ago this month, the skies over Lake Fairfax were filled with colorful hot-air balloons during a hot-air balloon festival. Photographer Paul Savide captured these wonderful views of the balloons taking flight, filling the sky above the lake and the surrounding Reston landscape.

What’s the most memorable (or unexpected)way you’ve seen Reston? From above, on the water, along the trails, or somewhere in between, we’d love to hear your stories! 🎈💙
