Congratulations to Warren Chambers Warren Chambers … Juror’s Choice Award winner at the Maryland Federation “ Off the Wall” sculpture show in Annapolis. His piece “ de Chirico with Billboards “ was in Art4us exhibition at Gallery B in Bethesda in February 2026.

I will be there each day during the exhibition:)

My work is a perception of life and its fragility. I use what I gather during my walks or in my
garden: flowers, leaves… Decoctions or biomaterials made from these elements become my raw
materials, to which I add an encaustic medium and embroidery. The earthy and mineral color
tones, along with the varied textures, evoke the rocky and diverse landscapes of my region.
Cutouts, shapes, and materials come together, held in place by thread, highlighting the
interconnectedness of natural elements. The result conveys a sense of depth and movement,
suggesting the multiple historical and cultural layers that make up the region.
The embroidery serves as an emotional vehicle—a trace—where human presence and nature
become one. Each work forms a landscape where fragility, time, and emotional depth coexist in a
poetic and contemporary interpretation of life.
