Do you have weekend plans? Well now you do!! Railgiants Train Museum will be open the 4th Saturday of the month in July August and September as part of our extended Summer hours. This Saturday 7/25 the museum will be open 10am- 5pm free of charge as always. We look forward to seeing you at the museum.

Update on the restoration of FGS #3. The tender has been fully cleaned of grease and dirt and is ready for blasting and primer. Focus has turned back to the locomotive with more piping and appliance removals. Crews also got into the firebox and opened up the steam dome of the locomotive. Great progress is being made and we need your support. Donations to keep the project going can be made on the website link in our bio, and we are always looking for more volunteers to come help restore history.

2026 is a big year for our both of our three cylinder steam giants. Union Pacific 4-12-2 9000 and Southern Pacific 4-10-2 5021 are turning 100 years old!! We have celebrations planned all year long so be sure to come out and wish these two historic locomotives a happy 100th birthday. #2026
