Hey , Doylestown homies and beyond. We The TileWorks of Bucks County need volunteers for 24 Saturday and Sunday May 18th&19.
I’ve been a member of this community for a long time.Apparently I never knew how to say NO, and was called often to use my gifts to serve. I humbly lead projects here and there and everywhere, leading from the heart, sometimes bleeding from the heart, not necessarily collecting tangible reward$ yet …filling my bucket….All in all I survived.. If you know me, you know, I am there to help and rarely ask for help, to a-fault. Today I unabashedly, am hoping someone is still reading this and feels compelled to experience the art of giving back. I promise you, you will enjoy the magic of the TileWorks;the comraderie, the creativity and energy of the and the music and the food and the vibe. Please DM me if you can help out.

24 is less than 2 weeks away. This national event is in the County of Bucks at . From Alaska to Florida, vendors and visitors gather, For the Love of Tile and The TileWorks of Bucks County . I have many tile miles on my odometer in this lifetime. Tiles have been the vehicle and fuel for a higher percentage of my energy out put than I would like to admit. When I say I look forward to the confluence of folks who gather to celebrate the oldest and longest lasting memory objects that human civilization has and that Mother Nature readily provides all of us with ( the earth, fire, air and water to make. ),It is not said lightly. It is my surmise that we need to keep our craft alive, keep telling the stories, keep using our hands and hearts and heads to make these tiles, build with tiles design with and decorate with tiles for future generations to understand us. If you can come to TileFest you will have the opportunity to experience this by talking to creators, storytellers, watching makers, by making stuff yourself and enjoying the built environment and stories embedded in the walls of TileWorks circa 1912 & taking home tiles that speak to you.

When Worlds Collide…..

Rushadicus, Ambassador of Sneth, is one cello goblin who needs no introduction. Rushadicus plays fluffy rainbow unicorn metal from a magic green dimension whose mystic tongues growl the delapitude of the future across speedy spectrums of the wildest astral cello landscapes with oceans of glee, skies full of bats and forests full of strange melody monsters: does it even exist?
Rusharguanox hops between dimensions as he growls the language of sneth over antelope-defeating landspeed records of jick and bat fury of potatoes in whirlwind antenna farms.
On his adventure through the wild forests of Eastern Turtle Island, he makes a stop at Moravian Pottery and Tile Works in Doylestown, PA to greet Odo the Dragon of Castle Acre and put on a musical performance for the locals. This show is family friendly and no tickets necessary. Just come and be sure to contribute when the pointy hat lands on your lap. Bring your own picnic, beach chairs, and refreshments.
