25+ years later, The Iron Giant remains one of the most beloved animated films ever made 🤖

Originally released in theaters in the United States on August 6, 1999, the Iron Giant has inspired many these past couple decades, as has the work of Japanese Ukiyo-e artist Utagawa Hiroshige.

Contemporary artist Justin Froning has perfectly combined his love for both The Iron Giant and the Edo period woodblock prints of Hiroshige into a lovely tribute originally featured in Film on Canvas Book 2 by Dropcast.
