Tonight the Houston AAF opens for its debut edition! 🇺🇸

We're looking forward to introducing collectors to the work of Tristan Manco. Inspired by the vibrant dance and music culture of Brazil, Manco takes original vintage letterpress posters from one of the last wooden letterpress studios in Sao Paulo and combines their bold typography with dynamic figurative painting to create truly unique and joyful works.

Alongside Manco we'll be bringing a fantastic selection of work by gallery favourites including Gustavo Ortiz, Xenz, Carlos Dias, Mark Vessey, and original Pop Artist Jann Haworth.

Complimentary tickets available via the link in our bio, we'd love to see you at Stand B1.

There’s no better spot in London in Autumn than Battersea Park, where Ethiopian painter Hani Mikiyas will be making her UK debut at the Affordable Art Fair UK

Mikiyas's powerful and expressive portraits are imbued with such emotional energy, capturing moments of stillness, reflection and self-dialogue. Her paintings have received an incredible response in the US this year, and Battersea’s Fair Director Hugo Barclay has selected her beautiful work as his Director's Choice for this edition.

We’ll be showing her new collection alongside new pieces by collectors' favourite Mark Vessey, Tristan Manco’s joyous dance and music paintings, and stunning new pieces by Xenz.

Complimentary tickets are available for you through the link in our bio. Come say hi at Stand B6!

A little glimpse of one of the beautiful XENZ pieces we'll be showing at our upcoming fairs this Autumn.

We feel very lucky to have an incredible collection of new work by Xenz, a graffiti artist since the age of 14, whose work truly captures the ephemeral beauty of nature.

Our first fair of these season will be the brilliant Affordable Art Fair NYC, September 16-20 🗽🌇🍂.

Tristan Manco’s upcycled vintage Lambe Lambe letterpress posters were sourced from São Paulo’s Gráfica Fidalga, the last historic woodtype studio to produce them using hand-carved wooden letters. The posters are painted on by Manco in response to their texts, colours and messages, adding new layers of imagery inspired by music and dancing. The series celebrates the bold typography and textures of the originals while adding another layer to their history.
