On our first floor Cj Hendry’s trademark beads fill a bead pit ready to gather and string.  (Tens of thousands of pounds- but who is counting…?)

On view on 2, dozens of brightly colored limited edition posters cover the gallery walls—each image a colorful portrait of a single bead, rendered large.

In her new series, Hendry’s beads turn two-dimensional: each a close rendering of a single object—Juju, a banana, a unicorn, a sparkly lip, a smiley face—set in pastel against saturated, candy-bright backdrops. Red rocket ships launch against navy. Pink skulls pop against lime. The prints isolate each bead with the hyperreal precision Hendry brings to her drawings (also on view!)

August 6th, Salon 94 Design + Cj Hendry present "Pastel”—part exhibition, part playground.

At its center: a massive pit of pastel-colored beads, populated by Hendry's world—Juju, Balloon Dog, her signature flowers and smiley faces. Reach in, build your own collection, string it into a bracelet, necklace, or charm.

Drawings and editions on view alongside her signature swag—caps, tees, jewelry trunks, leather trays, acrylic keyrings.

For over a decade, Hendry has built a global following through large-scale installations and direct-to-public drops, working entirely outside the traditional gallery world.
