We had some awesome visitors today at the New Bedford Fire Museum! 🚒🔥

A big thank you to Master Lee US Ta Kwon Do School from Dartmouth for stopping by. It was a pleasure hosting such a respectful, disciplined group of students.

The kids were accompanied by an outstanding team of mentors and chaperones who made the visit both fun and educational. We hope everyone enjoyed exploring the history of firefighting and left with some great memories!

Honoring 50 Years of Volunteer Service 🚒❤️

Today, we’re proud to recognize Larry Roy for an incredible 50 years of service as a volunteer firefighter. His dedication, commitment, and willingness to serve our community for five decades are a remarkable accomplishment.

Larry has been an important part of preserving our local firefighting history, and we’re grateful to have him as one of our museum volunteers. Pictured here with his sister, Larry continues to share his passion for the fire service and its history with our visitors.
