The Star Store is Coming Back: Mayor Jon Mitchell was joined by the New Bedford Economic Development Council to welcome the new owners of the Star Store: Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston. This morning's announcement was met with applause as news was shared that the Star Store is on the path to redevelopment as a regional arts, culture and creative hub. The new owners have a successful track record or reimagining spaces for creative uses, including Western Avenue Studios & Lofts.
