Dana Gallery Dana Gallery represents over thirty regional artists and opens a new exhibit each month during Missoula's First Friday art walk.

We have been a Missoula mainstay since 1996 thanks to our artists, clients, and community. The Dana Gallery specializes in a broad range of contemporary artwork from a variety of artists, both emerging and established. First Friday as you enjoy Thom Ross’ exhibit, don’t miss two sculptural assemblages by local artist Jack Boyd.

Intrigued by the surface and sensory tension between replication and progression, Boyd’s assemblage sculptures of revivified, often technological, ephemera have recently trained their interest on manipulating the icons and tropes of the art of the American West.

Boyd’s work can be found in various establishments within Missoula, as well as in private collections throughout the country.

Join us First Friday as we open Thom Ross’ show! All ages are welcome August 7th from 5 to 8 pm with live music by Jack Sandberg.

Besides creating reactions of wonder in the viewer, Thom’s goal is to contemporize classic Western events and characters from a sometimes ill-remembered or misinterpreted past by his use of vivid colors, abstract shapes, and a modern flair.
