Before May Pang joins us at L.A. Design on July 14 & 15, get to know the woman behind the photographs.

In this conversation with The Missoula Podcast, May reflects on her extraordinary life, her time with John Lennon during the celebrated "Lost Weekend" years, and the remarkable moments that became some of the most intimate photographs ever taken of him.

It's a fascinating look at the stories behind the images you'll experience in person during the exhibition.

We invite you to watch the interview, then join us at L.A. Design on July 14 & 15 to meet May, hear her stories firsthand, and explore this exceptional collection of limited-edition photographs.

We look forward to welcoming you!

Some stories are best told by the people who lived them.

This July, L.A. Design presents a rare exhibition of black-and-white photography by Sam Manno, son of Antoinette Giancana (widely known as the "Mafia Princess") and grandson of Sam Giancana (the longtime boss of the Chicago Outfit). This deeply personal body of work documents moments from within one of America's most talked-about families. His photographs offer an unguarded perspective on a life that history has often reduced to headlines, including members of the Chicago mob, revealing quiet, everyday moments alongside figures whose names became part of American legend.

Join us all through July to experience this extraordinary collection, explore a selection of photographs available for acquisition, and meet Sam Manno in person. Hear the stories behind the images, discuss his unique perspective on a remarkable family history, and discover how photography became his way of preserving moments that might otherwise have been lost.

The West has never looked more alive.

Larry Pirnie's original paintings are filled with movement, light, and unmistakable color. His expressive style has made him one of the region's most recognizable artists, and experiencing these works together reveals the depth and character that define his vision.

Now retired from painting, Pirnie's remaining original works have become increasingly rare. This collection represents a special opportunity to acquire one of the final pieces available from an artist whose work has become a lasting part of the Western art landscape.

We'd love to welcome you into the gallery to explore the collection and discover a piece that feels like home.

At L.A. Design, every project begins at the table.

It is where we study the artwork, consider scale and placement, pull framing samples, and build a presentation that feels intentional from every angle. Custom framing is more than a finishing touch, it is part of the design process, curated to protect the work while elevating the way it lives in a home or collection.

Behind our design table is an original painting by Nick Turner, a new artist we are proud to feature in the gallery. Turner’s work explores the connection between nature and the human condition through horses, surfing, and expansive, often desolate landscapes.

We are honored to bring his work into the L.A. Design collection and to help clients discover the right frame, and story for the art they choose.

We are pleased to welcome Nick Turner to the L.A. Design gallery.

This original work on paper reflects Turner’s quiet, evocative approach to the movement and landscape that is a bucking bronco with his deeply personal visual language.

For its presentation, our team designed a custom frame that honors the delicacy of the paper while giving the work a refined architectural presence.

This work, along with a curated selection of Nick Turner originals, is now available through L.A. Design. We invite you to experience the collection in person.

A frame should do more than display a collection. It should protect it, honor it, and make the reveal unforgettable.

Created for Montana knife Company this one of a kind frame holds 16 beautifully handcrafted knives in a custom build presentation. Each piece is mounted with industrial grade magnets, surrounded by tailored detail, and secured behind a locking hinged door.

Precision craftsmanship deserves a presentation to match.
