Happy Friday! It is the end of the week and we are so artfully delighted for the amazing guests we had visited the Museum Nostalgia Primitive D’Haiti Deux exhibition. This family came with the energy and love for the culture! Came for a graduation but left with a piece of Haiti in their hearts! Thank you for coming by all the way from Connecticut.

Few museum leaders have shaped the field as profoundly as Lonnie G. Bunch III.

Throughout a remarkable career, Lonnie challenged museums to tell fuller stories, engage broader audiences, and embrace the responsibilities that come with public trust.

His leadership transformed institutions, expanded public understanding of history, and helped redefine what museums can achieve.

His impact on AAM and the broader museum community spans decades, and his influence will be felt for generations.

Today, we congratulate Lonnie on an extraordinary career and celebrate all he has contributed to museums, museum professionals, and the communities they serve.
