Hunt Slonem’s newest works are landing soon at Carousel Fine Art.

Slonem paints his signature bunnies, birds, and butterflies, then scratches a cross-hatched grid straight into the surface, a technique he says feels like weaving, like the wires of a birdcage. The inspiration isn’t abstract: Slonem keeps his own aviary of dozens of live exotic birds at home, and discovered he was born in the year of the rabbit, which is why the bunny became his signature.

His work already lives in over 250 museum collections, including the Guggenheim, the Met, and the Whitney.

Now his newest work is coming to our walls.

Introducing Luis Kaiulani to Carousel Fine Art, two sculptures now available.

Kaiulani builds large-scale abstract works in welded aluminum, almost entirely from two forms: circles and lines. Born in Honolulu, raised with deep Venezuelan roots, self-taught, he’s spent over twenty years fusing the two into pieces now installed in hospitals, resorts, and public plazas nationwide, including a fountain at a Punta Cana resort and a lakeside sculpture at Miramar Cultural Center.
