In 1940, Rothstein's lens captured the landscapes, attractions, and western heritage that would soon draw millions of visitors and residents to Nevada. More than 80 years later, Ann and Brodie offer a rare, behind-the-scenes look at his Nevada assignment, revealing how New Deal investments helped spark decades of rapid growth in the region. Blending personal insights with historical context, this program offers a rare opportunity to explore the legacy of one of America's most important documentary photographers and glimpse the moment Las Vegas began transforming into the city we know today.
