This week, we were honored to welcome Scott Pappano, Principal Deputy Administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration.

With nearly 35 years of service as a U.S. Navy submarine officer and acquisition leader, including roles as Vice Admiral and Assistant Secretary of the Navy (RDA), Mr. Pappano has played a vital role in shaping strategic deterrence. Museum Vice Chairman Scott Wade and Board Chairman John Longenecker guided the tour, showcasing our nation's nuclear heritage.

We are deeply grateful for his continued service and museum visit!

Since the end of nuclear testing, scientists have used subcritical experiments to ensure the safety and reliability of the U.S. stockpile. By using high explosives to study materials without reaching a critical mass, we gain vital data for supercomputer simulations.

Chris gave an incredible behind-the-scenes look at the design, artistry, and prop engineering required to bring iconic collectibles to life, including the legendary Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas Pip-Boy 3000 Replicas. To top off an unforgettable afternoon, one lucky attendee walked away with a brand-new Pip-Boy replica! 🎁
