For the first time in Juried Show history, we have a tie for the People's Choice Award! Voted on by our gallery visitors, we are excited to celebrate our co-winners: "The Bowl of Pompeii" by Leticia Sanchez (2026, digital photograph) and "Babushka Daschunds" by Rowan Foxgrover (2026, gouache on panel). Both artists will receive an award from the Lancaster Museum & Public Art Foundation.

This officially wraps up the 2026 All-Media Juried Art Exhibition. This year, we experienced a wide variety of artwork from our community, ranging from fashion to sculptures made of unconventional materials. Thank you to all the artists who submitted their work and to our community for your incredible support.

In this intimate installation, Eva Aguila's “The Foundation of the Harvest/El Cimiento de la Cosecha” shares a story of Aguila’s family and the impact of their lives from the 20th-century Bracero Program to today’s H-2A visa system. Through objects, vintage family photos, archival materials, and video testimony, this exhibition honors Aguila’s family. It also highlights America's ongoing reliance on Mexican migrant labor and the activism of organizers like Aguila’s uncle, Jorge Campos Aguiñiga, who fought for laborers' rights.

Join the conversation at our next Artist Talk, “Eva Aguila in Conversation with Cielo Saucedo,” where they will discuss their creative practices and how they use archives to preserve these vital histories.
