BuffaloCounty HistoricalSociety Trails & Rails Museum is owned and operated by the Buffalo County Historical Society. We are a progressive museum located on the route of the Mormon Trail.

Tour through seven historical Buffalo County buildings and a Union Pacific train. Do research in the extensive archival building with the assistance of some wonderful volunteers. Join the BCHS/Trails & Rails Museum and learn more information at www.bchs.us! Summer hours are Monday-Saturday 10-6 and Sundays 1-5. Sept.-May hours are Mon.-Fri. 1-5 pm. We're excited to announce new tour package options for anyone looking for a unique Buffalo County history experience.

Don't forget—our Summer Hours are now in effect until Labor Day:

It's 4:44 and today we say farewell to our beloved curator, Dr. Lina Cordia, as she begins an exciting new chapter in Fresno, California.

Over the past two years, Lina's passion for history, dedication to preservation, and commitment to sharing Buffalo County's stories have left a lasting mark on BCHS and the community. Her expertise, creativity, and friendship will be greatly missed by staff, volunteers, members, and visitors alike.

While we are sad to see her go, we are incredibly grateful for all she has contributed and wish her every success and happiness in her new role.

Thank you, Lina, for everything. Once a part of the Trails & Rails family, always a part of the Trails & Rails family. ❤️
