The Juneau-Douglas City Museum is accepting applications from artists interested in mounting an exhibition between November 2027 and February 2028 🧑‍🎨 If you haven’t tossed your hat in the ring, here’s why you might want to:
Kathleen Harper, who displayed “Art Scraps: Welcome to the Wonderful Worlds of Kathleen and Bo” along with her husband Bo Anderson in December 2025, had a great experience working on her display. “The December show was my first art show since college, but the museum staff made the process as clear and easy as possible,” she shares. “For someone just starting out, the side room is perfect to cut your teeth and the large gallery space is the largest blank wall space in Juneau for an art exhibition, making it an amazing opportunity for artists who want to be able to do things like large pieces.”
Get your application at www.juneau.org/library/museum/exhibit-opportunities or the City Museum to apply 📝 Applications are due Saturday, October 31 at 11:59 p.m.
