If you've visited us in Juneau, there is a good chance you stood by the waterfront and saw "Tahku" the humpback whale mid-breach.

Alaska artist Brenda Schwartz-Yeager has a beautiful way of keeping those memories alive. By painting her detailed illustrations directly onto real local nautical charts, she turns a fond memory of Alaska scenery into a piece of art you can take home.

Colleen is here to show off the stars of the season: the fancy pumpkins are officially back on display! And you know what that means. It's Double Points season at Annie Kaill’s!

We walk past the Douglas Pump House on our daily dog walks and under moody skies, but leave it to Dave Wetzel to find the most vibrant warmth in our everyday backyards.

The rumors are true. Custom framing legend (and reluctant Juneau celebrity) Karen is preparing for her close-up. 🎬

While she prepares for her inevitable Netflix documentary, she has graciously agreed to keep her regular hours in the shop. And yes, if you ask nicely, she will gladly autograph her world-famous Ravens.

Stop by the gallery to get your art framed, offer her some words of encouragement, or just say "hey" (as you can see, she absolutely loves the camera).

It happens to the best of us. You get home from your incredible Alaska adventure, unpack your bags, and realize you forgot that one special thing to remember it by.

You can see how legendary Juneau artist Alice Tersteeg captured our iconic Mt. Juneau. Alice has been painting, printmaking, and studying Southeast Alaska's wildlife and landscapes since 1973 (she even ran the art department at the University of Alaska Southeast for 35 years!). Her vibrant style is the perfect way to look back and remember exactly how it felt to stand in Juneau and watch the clouds drift over the mountain peaks.

If you didn't get a chance to stop by our shop on Seward Street during your trip, don't worry. We safely pack and ship art, pottery, and Alaskan-made gifts all over the country every single day.

If you’ve lived in Juneau for long, you know the feeling of watching online shipping boxes pile up by the door.

Back in 2020, when Colleen was getting geared up to become a grandma, she noticed that exact mountain of boxes growing. She realized there simply weren't enough local spots to find high-quality, unique baby and kids' gear right here in town.

Instead of letting the shipping logistics win, she took matters into her own hands and brought the best of the best straight to Annie Kaill's.

Today, our "Kaill's Kids" section is overflowing with magic. We’re talking locally designed pajamas, whimsical handmade stuffies, cozy blankets, sleep sacks, burp rags, and even kids' cameras. Every single piece is hand-selected to keep our shelves stocked for every birthday, holiday, baby shower, and life milestone.

Best of all, so many of these treasures are crafted by talented Alaskan makers. You get to skip the shipping delays, feel the quality in person, and keep your support right here in our community.
