My pal, Katie having met Marvin, first at the museum, lunch and then pals. She wrote this nice memorial today. I connected with him, numerous time at the museum and numerous “Cars and Coffee” events in Novato. It was there, when he saw my Batcar, I learned he also worked with George Barris, in creating the “Batmobile”. He had quite an exceptional old car/hot rod history! “A true mensch ❤️💔
I met Marvin just months after he lost his beloved wife Pam at a friend’s car museum. Warm, compassionate, funny, endlessly curious, and as interested in listening as he was in sharing a lifetime of wonderful stories, especially those about the woman he adored.
