We’re pairing the hilarious 1938 classic screwball comedy BRINGING UP BABY (starring icons Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant) with regional science.

🔬 Before the movie, Dr. Dalton L. Meyer (from Yale's Earth & Planetary Science program) will share about vertebrate paleontology and dinosaurs/lizards in prehistoric Connecticut.

We're excited to return to Chicago for the Independent Film Exhibition Conference (aka IND/EX) next week!

IND/EX brings together film festival organizers, art house cinemas, and indie exhibitors from around the country for four days of community education, networking, and industry advancement.

The conference is a joint partnership between Art House Convergence and Film Festival Alliance and is dedicated to advancing the reach, impact, and sustainability of independent exhibitors and film festivals.

In other words: It's an inspiring time with wonderfully bright and thoughtful people who take the passion for what they do and bring it to YOU, in the form of excellent film programming and exhibition.

We can't wait to gather with peers from other cinema and art spaces - and to report back our learnings. Stay tuned!

Thanks to our friends at Netflix and the Sea Change Project, today's Science On Screen talk and screening of MY OCTOPUS TEACHER at the Connecticut Science Center will be FREE!

For all ticketholders, we will offer a refund for your ticket. If you'd like to direct the cost to a donation for Real Art Ways, we can help you with that at the event or you can email [email protected] after June 13.
